About the role
As an Architect at Civil & Interior Co, your drawings go to site. You will take concepts through design development and working drawings, coordinate with our execution and MEP teams, and visit site to resolve details as the project is built.
Our work covers residences, offices, retail, hospitality and healthcare spaces, often with civil and interior scopes in the same project. That gives you a direct view of how design decisions play out in construction, cost and schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Develop concepts into space plans, design development drawings and presentations.
- Prepare detailed working drawings: plans, sections, elevations, reflected ceiling plans and joinery details.
- Coordinate architectural and interior drawings with structural and MEP inputs.
- Prepare and review material specifications, and support BOQ preparation.
- Present design options to clients and incorporate their feedback.
- Visit site to resolve design queries, check execution against drawings and approve details.
- Manage drawing revisions and issue registers.
- Support documentation for society, building or authority submissions where required.
Required skills
- Strong AutoCAD drafting and detailing.
- 3D modelling in SketchUp, Revit or a similar tool.
- Solid understanding of building construction, materials and interior detailing.
- Ability to coordinate drawings across disciplines.
- Clear presentation and communication with clients and site teams.
- Attention to drawing standards and version control.
Experience
3–5 years in architecture or interior architecture practice, including working drawings and site coordination.
Education
Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch).
Good to have
- Revit or BIM workflow experience.
- Rendering skills with V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion or a similar tool.
- Experience on commercial, hospitality or healthcare interiors.
- Knowledge of Mumbai building and society approval processes.
