About the role
The Site Supervisor is our presence on site every day. You will manage the work front, including labour, vendors, materials and sequencing, and make sure what gets built matches the approved drawings and specifications.
Our sites range from apartments in high-rise towers to offices, retail stores, restaurants and healthcare spaces. Each comes with its own constraints: society or building rules, permitted working hours, material movement and coordination with other trades. You will report to the Project Manager and work closely with our design and MEP teams.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily site activities across civil, carpentry, false ceiling, flooring, painting and finishing works.
- Plan and allocate labour and subcontractor teams against the project schedule.
- Execute from architectural, interior and MEP drawings, and raise queries before work goes wrong.
- Check workmanship and materials against specifications, and maintain quality checklists and snag lists.
- Track material requirements, receive deliveries and verify quantities on site.
- Coordinate electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fire-fighting vendors so trades follow the right sequence.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site photographs and labour records for the Project Manager.
- Ensure safe working practices, site housekeeping and protection of finished work.
- Follow building and society rules on working hours, lift use, debris removal and permissions.
- Support measurements for vendor billing, and assist with snagging and handover.
Required skills
- Confident reading of civil, interior and MEP drawings.
- Practical knowledge of interior fit-out materials and construction methods.
- Ability to manage labour and subcontractors firmly and fairly.
- Working knowledge of measurements and quantity checks for billing.
- Basic reporting in Excel or Google Sheets, and photo-based daily site reporting.
- Clear communication in English and Hindi; Marathi is helpful.
Experience
3–5 years of site supervision on interior fit-out, civil or turnkey projects. Experience on commercial office, retail or hospitality sites is preferred.
Education
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent hands-on site experience in interior fit-out.
Good to have
- AutoCAD for checking and marking up drawings.
- Experience with society and building-management permissions in Mumbai.
- Exposure to quality control and snagging on premium residential finishes.
- Familiarity with basic site safety standards.
