About the role
As Project Manager, you are accountable for delivery. You will take a project from approved design into execution: planning the programme, building the vendor and site team, controlling cost and quality, and keeping the client informed at every stage.
Civil & Interior Co delivers turnkey interiors and project management across residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and healthcare work. You will work with our designers, architects, MEP managers and site supervisors, and with clients' own consultants where they are involved.
Key responsibilities
- Plan project schedules, milestones and resource requirements from design sign-off to handover.
- Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors across civil, interior, MEP and specialist packages.
- Review drawings, BOQs and specifications, and resolve design and execution queries with the design team.
- Track budgets, variations and vendor bills, and flag cost risks early.
- Run regular progress reviews with clients and internal teams, and keep clear written records.
- Manage procurement timelines for long-lead materials, furniture and equipment.
- Set and enforce quality standards; run inspections, snagging and closeout.
- Oversee site safety and compliance with building and society requirements.
- Prepare handover documentation, as-built information and client closeout.
Required skills
- Proven delivery of interior fit-out or turnkey projects from start to finish.
- Strong command of drawings, BOQs, rate analysis and vendor billing.
- Scheduling with MS Project, Primavera or a well-structured Excel programme.
- Confident client communication, written and verbal.
- Ability to lead site supervisors and negotiate with subcontractors.
- Working knowledge of MEP coordination on interior projects.
Experience
5–8 years in interior fit-out, turnkey or construction project management, including end-to-end responsibility for complete projects.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design.
Good to have
- Experience on commercial offices, retail roll-outs or healthcare interiors.
- Exposure to luxury residential projects and premium finishes.
- Familiarity with project management consultancy (PMC) workflows.
- AutoCAD for reviewing and marking up drawings.
