Interior Sales

Turn interior enquiries into signed projects by understanding what clients need and working with our design team on the right proposal.

  • 3–5 years
  • Full-time
  • Mumbai · On-site

About the role

In Interior Sales, you are often the first conversation a client has with Civil & Interior Co. You will qualify enquiries, meet clients, understand their space, budget and timeline, and work with our designers and estimators on proposals that we can actually deliver.

Because we design and execute, your conversations cover the full project, not just a design fee. You will need a working understanding of interior scope, materials and costs to set the right expectations from the first meeting.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to and qualify inbound enquiries from the website, referrals and campaigns.
  • Meet clients at our office, on site or online to understand requirements, scope and budget.
  • Coordinate site measurements and briefs with the design team.
  • Work with designers and estimators to prepare proposals and quotations.
  • Present proposals, explain scope and inclusions, and handle negotiations.
  • Follow up consistently and close projects.
  • Keep an accurate pipeline and client records in a CRM or tracking sheet.
  • Hand closed projects over to the design and project teams with a clear brief.

Required skills

  • Consultative selling of interior design, fit-out or related services.
  • Working knowledge of interior scope, materials and approximate costs.
  • Confident presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong spoken and written English; Hindi and Marathi are useful.
  • Disciplined follow-up and pipeline tracking.
  • Comfort with Excel, Google Sheets or a CRM.

Experience

3–5 years in interior design, home improvement, furniture, real estate or building-materials sales.

Education

Graduate in any discipline. A background in interior design, architecture or marketing is an advantage.

Good to have

  • An existing network of homeowners, architects or developers in Mumbai.
  • Experience selling turnkey or design-and-build projects.
  • Ability to read basic floor plans and drawings.
  • Experience handling leads from digital campaigns.

Who this role would suit

  • Sales professionals who prefer consultative conversations to scripted pitches.
  • People who enjoy understanding spaces, materials and design.
  • Closers who want to see the projects they sell being built.

Work location

Mumbai. Based at our office in Andheri West, with on-site work at project locations across Mumbai.

Office: A-406, Fairlink Centre, Andheri West, Mumbai 400053, Maharashtra.
