About the role
MEP services decide whether an interior works once it is handed over. As MEP Project Manager, you will plan, coordinate and supervise the services scope on our projects, making sure it is designed to fit, installed correctly and tested before handover.
You will work with our Project Managers, designers and site supervisors, and with specialist MEP vendors, across residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and healthcare projects.
Key responsibilities
- Review MEP drawings and specifications, and coordinate them with interior and architectural layouts.
- Identify clashes between services, ceilings, joinery and structure before work starts on site.
- Plan MEP work sequences and align them with the overall project schedule.
- Supervise electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting and low-voltage installations.
- Check materials and equipment against approved specifications and makes.
- Review vendor quantities and bills for MEP packages.
- Coordinate with building management for shutdowns, tie-ins and permissions.
- Plan and witness testing and commissioning, and record the results.
- Prepare MEP handover documents, as-built inputs and operation and maintenance information.
Required skills
- Sound technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fire-fighting systems in interior projects.
- Ability to read and coordinate MEP and architectural drawings.
- Experience supervising MEP vendors and checking installation quality.
- Practical understanding of electrical loads and cable and pipe sizing.
- Quantity take-off and bill verification for MEP packages.
- Clear reporting and coordination skills.
Experience
3–5 years in MEP execution or coordination on interior fit-out, commercial or hospitality projects.
Education
Degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Good to have
- AutoCAD for MEP drawing review and coordination.
- Experience with commercial kitchens, healthcare or other services-heavy interiors.
- Familiarity with fire NOC and building-management requirements in Mumbai.
- Exposure to BMS, access control or other low-voltage systems.
